Abstract
Ester Ava Höhle and Ulrich Teichler (INCHER-Kassel) conducted a research study on early career decisions and career paths of German post docs by analysing data from existing empirical studies. The study is part of the 2nd Report on the Promotion of Early Career Researchers in Germany which is being conducted by the Institut für Hochschulforschung Wittenberg (HoF: http://www.hof.uni-halle.de/projekte/wiss_nachwuchs.htm).
