Abstract

Programatics and semantics are analyzed in different theoretical traditions, each of them offering fruitful perspectives for organizational education. Neo-institutionalism, systems theory as well as post-structural approaches analyze the relations between knowledge, language and meaning in their specific theoretical set and use of the terms programatics and semantics. This article explores the specific use of these terms in three theory sets and analyzes the potentials for organizational education research. Programatics and semantics in a poststructuralist approach are exemplified in the trend towards Innovation Labs between Higher Education and regional multi-actor settings.
